§ LORD JOHN MANNERSmentioned that arrangements were made some time ago for an interview with representatives of Mr. Herring in regard to his invention, but that the meeting never occurred. As it had been determined by the Post Office Department not to adopt the invention in the Public Service, there was no occasion now for an interview.
