§ MR. CAWLEYasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether Her Majesty's Government are prepared to carry out such of the recommendations of the Committee on the Patent Laws contained in their Report of 1872, as can be adopted without further legislative powers; and, whether he will introduce in the next Session of Parliament a Bill for further amending the Patent Laws in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee?
MR. ASSHETON CROSS, in reply, said, that in the opinion of Her Majesty's Government, it was better to deal with this matter, not piecemeal but altogether; and that it was their intention to consider it fully during the Recess, with a view to legislation next year.
