asked the hon. Member for Frome, On what day he proposes to proceed with the Juries Bill; and if he has any expectation that it will pass into law this Session?
, in reply, said, that having regard to the late period of the Session and the amount of business which remained to be got through, he had no hope of passing the Bill this Session. He was sure, however, that, considering the principles of it had been sanctioned by the House, the public would not be satisfied until some such measure became law.
