§ LORD GEORGE HAMILTONI cannot, Sir, exactly state the day upon which these Papers will be laid upon the Table of the House, but I can undertake that as soon as the Correspondence is complete it shall be produced. The subject to which these Papers relate is of great importance, and the Papers themselves are of such a character as to render it impossible to produce them at a moment's notice. Considerable Correspondence has, and is, passing between the Governments of India and Bombay and the India Office. When that Correspondence is concluded, the Papers will be complete, and will be laid upon the Table of the House.
