HC Deb 24 April 1874 vol 218 c1097
MR. DILLWYN

asked the First Commissioner of Works, Whether any arrangement has been made for the payment of rent for the occupation of Hampton Court Park, a Return, printed on the 4th of June 1872, having stated "that the conditions of this occupation are now under the consideration of the Lords of the Treasury?"

LORD HENRY LENNOX

Sir, with the sanction of the Treasury, I have placed myself in communication with the Master of the Horse's Department on the subject. No arrangement has yet been made, but I hope a satisfactory one Mill shortly be come to as to the amount of rent to be paid under the existing circumstances of the case by the Master of the Horse's Department to the Board of Works.
