HC Deb 21 March 1873 vol 214 cc1961-2
SIR HENRY SELWIN-IBBETSON

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, If the Foreign Office will instruct our Minister at Munich to furnish a Report to the House of Commons on the trials that have taken place in Bavaria relating to a break system on Railroads, called the Heberlein Break System, and to the fact of its adoption by the Bavarian Government? He might add that this break had been tried with such advantage that the French Ambassador had been instructed to obtain a copy of the Report as to the result of the trials.
