HC Deb 30 July 1873 vol 217 c1255
MAJOR BEAUMONT

asked the First Commissioner of Works, Whether he will permit the public to judge of the general character of the building now in course of erection for the Natural History Museum at South Kensington by means of photographs of the plans, or in any other way, as may be most convenient?

MR. AYRTON

said, he would communicate with the architect, and if he found that a drawing could be photographed it should be done.
