HC Deb 13 February 1873 vol 214 c369
MR. BAILLIE COCHRANE

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether he will lay upon the Table Copies of the Correspondence that has taken place during the recess between the Foreign Office and other Governments respecting the proposed judicial reform in Egypt, and the navigation of the Suez Canal?

VISCOUNT ENFIELD

There will be no unnecessary delay in producing the Correspondence upon the two Questions referred to by my hon. Friend; but in the opinion of the Secretary of State it would not be convenient to do so in the present state of the negotiations.
