asked the President of the Board of Trade, If he has considered the Dover Harbour Bill now before Parliament, and what course the Government intend to pursue with reference thereto?

MR. CHICHESTER FORTESCUE,

in reply, said, that he was unable to state at that moment the course the Government intended to take with respect to the Bill, and the whole question of dealing with Dover Harbour, but the subject was being carefully considered, and he hoped to be able to give a fuller answer on a future occasion.
