SIR HERVEY BRUCEasked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether, if it be true, as is reported, that the Channel Squadron is to go round the coasts of the United Kingdom during the summer and autumn, he will permit it to visit Lough Foyle?
§ MR. GOSCHENsaid, in reply, that he was unable to give a pledge that the Channel Squadron would visit any particular locality, as the cruise of the Squadron had not yet been determined 103 upon. He was, therefore, unable to say whether the inhabitants of the district immediately surrounding Lough Foyle would be able to carry out the hospitable intentions which he believed they entertained.
