§ MR. CARDWELLSir, sub-lieutenants in the cavalry can exchange to infantry, subject, of course, to the general regulations, and provided they do not exceed the age for infantry. There is no objection to the exchange between two sub-lieutenants of infantry without reference to the list on which they pass out of Sandhurst.
