MR. BRUCEreplied that he had received the Report of the Commissioners on Truck in Shetland, which disclosed a state of things which he was bound to say was not met by the Bill which the Government had introduced. Whether the evils therein exposed, and which were very considerable, could be remedied by legislative interference he did not know; but the subject would receive the attentive consideration of the Government during the Recess.
