MR. O'NEILL

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland has issued instructions for the prosecution of any of the newspapers in that country for the publication of inflammatory articles inciting the people against Mr. Justice Keogh?

MR. GLADSTONE

I am informed by my right hon. Friend the Attorney General for Ireland that one Irish newspaper has received a warning from the Government, in the terms of the law, with respect to certain language used in the case of Mr. Justice Keogh and the Galway Election, and the other cases are still under the consideration of the legal Advisers of the Crown.

LORD CLAUD JOHN HAMILTON

asked what newspaper had received the warning in question?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. DOWSE)

The Tuam News.
