§ COLONEL C. LINDSAYasked the Secretary of State for War, Whether Oxford was to be a depôt centre, instead of High Wycombe?
§ MR. CARDWELLSir, General MacDougall informs me that if the Committee shall decide upon recommending Oxford as the depôt centre for the district, it will be with a view of establishing it in the neighbourhood, and not within the city, and that local inquiry will be made to ascertain where a suitable site could be obtained at a moderate cost.
