§ MR. HIBBERT (for Mr. STANSFELD)said, his right hon. Friend proposed to deal with the question of local taxation 1157 and existing exemptions from local rates, but would not deal with the inequalities of the present system of levying local taxation. His right hon. Friend hoped to introduce the Bill in the course of the present Session; but could not state when he would do so, or even whether he would be able to introduce a Bill at all.
