§ SIR JOHN HAYasked the First Lord of the Admiralty, If arrangements will be made with the Postmaster General to enable the Paymasters of Her Majesty's ships to issue Post Office Orders to officers and seamen desirous of remitting money home by that method?
§ MR. GOSCHENSir, regulations have been adopted at the Admiralty giving improved means to the officers and seamen for remitting money home, but they do not extend to Post Office money orders. I will consult the Postmaster General as to whether additional facilities can be given.
