§ SIR CHARLES WINGFIELDasked the Under Secretary of State for India, Whether any Rules have been submitted by the Government of India for the sanction of the Secretary of State for the purpose of giving effect to the provisions of the Act 33 Vic. c. 3, relative to the increased employment of Natives of India in the Civil Service of India?
MR. GRANT DUFF, in reply, said, no such rules had been received from the Government of India; but it was the intention of the Secretary of State in Council to draw the attention of the Government of India to the fact that they had not been received.
