GLADSTONEI wish to take this opportunity of conveying to the House that it is not in my power to move to-night that the House at its rising adjourn over the Whitsuntide Recess; but I hope to make that Motion to-morrow, at the Morning Sitting, should the Committee on the Westmeath Bill be finished. I am told that is uncertain, and we shall think it our duty not to make that Motion until the Committee on the Westmeath Bill has been disposed of.
