§ VISCOUNT ENFIELDreplied that a communication had been received on the 16th of March, under date of the 6th, stating that one William Barrett had been tried for the murder and acquitted. Instructions had been sent to Sir Edward Thornton to have the depositions and notes of the trial sent home.
