MAJOR ALLENasked the Secretary of State for War, Whether, in the new regulations for Sandhurst, the provision for the Queen's and East India Cadets will be made as heretofore?
§ MR. CARDWELLSir, Sandhurst is at present occupied by gentlemen who have already passed their examination, and I have great reason to be satisfied with what I hear of their conduct and progress. The question of cadets generally is under consideration, and I am not prepared to state as yet what arrangements will ultimately be adopted.
