§ MR. COLLINSasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, If it is the intention of the Government to proceed with the Second Reading of the Charity Commissioners Bill this Session; and, if so, if he will now fix a definite day for the Second Reading?
MR. BRUCEI am assured, Sir, that it is impossible to fix a day for the second reading; and, as undoubtedly the Bill will require some time for its proper consideration, the Government think it better that the Order should be withdrawn.
