MR. STACPOOLE

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, If the consent of the Treasury has as yet been given to the Bill for the amendment of the Glebe Loans (Ireland) Act; and, if so, when the Bill will be introduced?

THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTON

said, in reply, that the consent of the Treasury had been given to the Bill in question. Some proposed Amendments with respect to that measure were still under consideration. He believed that the Bill would be introduced in a short time.
