SIR JOHN HAYasked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether it is true that there are no iron plates in store for repairing the ships of the "Agincourt" class; and if any delay will arise in consequence in re-fitting that ship for sea?
§ MR. GOSCHENreplied that it was not true that there were no iron plates in store for repairing the ships of the Agincourt class, as such plates were 557 being supplied from Portsmouth. He was informed by one firm that they could be supplied in three days, and by another that they could be supplied in one day.
