asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether any decision has been come to on the question of charging Income Tax to Officers of the Navy on monies expended by them for travelling expenses when on duty, and afterwards reimbursed to them?

, in reply, said, the Lords of the Treasury had decided not to charge such expenses with income tax.
