MAGUIREsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, When he will be prepared to introduce the promised Bill Based on the Report of the Select Committee on Prison Ministers of last year; and whether it be the intention of the Government to pass it in the present Session?
MR. BRUCE, in reply, said, a Bill had been prepared based on the Report of the Select Committee that sat last year. He was unable at present to name the day when it would be introduced; but he hoped it would be an early one, and that the measure would receive the sanction of the House that Session.
