§ MR. W. H. SMITHasked the First Lord of the Treasury, If it is the intention of the Government to introduce a Bill early this Session dealing with the Reports of the Ritual Commission?
MR. GLADSTONE, in reply, said, he had nothing to add to the answer given to a similar Question a few days ago by the Secretary of State for the Home Department. The Government were in communication with the more eminent members of the Episcopal Bench on the subject, and they were waiting to hear from these right rev. Prelates before 318 arriving at a final decision. He had reason to believe that would not be long.
