KNATCHBULL-HUGESSEN, in reply, said, that Mr. John Campbell had been appointed a magistrate for the district referred to, under provisions of the Act passed in the 26th and 27th year of the present reign. That gentleman had been received by the inhabitants with the greatest cordiality, and no disturbance was apprehended.
