said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, When it is his intention to bring forward his Bill on the Licensing of Houses for the Sale of Intoxicating Liquors?

MR. BRUCE

, in reply, said, he was unable at present to fix a day for introducing his promised Bill on the subject; but he assured his hon. Friend that he would bring it forward as soon as he had a fair opportunity of proceeding with it continuously. He might add that it was the full intention of the Government to get the Bill passed into law during the present Session.
