MR. SEELYasked the First Lord of the Admiralty, If he will lay upon the Table of the House Copy of the evidence taken by the Committee on Ships Designs, together with their Report?
§ MR. GOSCHENreplied, that he had not yet had time to peruse all the evidence and papers. As many of the documents were of a highly confidential character, he scarcely liked to pledge himself to produce the whole of the evidence until he had read it through. He would, however, give a definite answer to the hon. Gentleman in the course of a few days.
MR. CORRYsaid, he understood that two of the naval members of the Committee differed from their colleagues, and drew up dissenting Reports. Would such Reports be laid upon the Table?
§ MR. GOSCHENreplied in the affirmative.
