§ MR. STACPOOLEasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, If there is any intention on the part of the Government to introduce any measure to amend the Glebe Land (Ireland) Act of last Session?
THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTONsaid, in reply, that a Bill for this object had been prepared by the Irish Board of Works; but it would have to receive the sanction of the Treasury before it could be introduced. Subject to that sanction being obtained, he believed that it was the intention of the Board of Works to press the Bill during the present Session.
