SHAW-LEFEVRESir, the delay in furnishing the Return is due to the fact that about half the railway companies have neglected to supply the necessary information in reply to a circular directed to them by the Board of Trade. Their attention has recently been again called to the subject; and I hope, therefore, we may be shortly in a position to lay the Return upon the Table of the House.
