said, he would beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether any communications have taken place between the French and English Governments upon the question of establishing an International Coinage since the date of the Report of the Royal Commission on International Coinage and if so whether he will have any objection to lay the Correspondence before the House?

In reply, Sir, to the Question of the hon. Member, I have to state that there have been communications on this subject between the French and English Governments, and that I shall have no objection to lay the correspondence upon the table.
