HC Deb 07 March 1870 vol 199 c1373
MR. WHITWELL

Sir, I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether he is able to state how soon the Government will lay before this House the important information collected by our Diplomatic Representatives abroad on the subject of Land Tenure on the Continent?

MR. OTWAY

Sir, I regret very much that the Papers have not already been presented. They are very voluminous, and they were prepared in reference to the question of the tenure of land in Ireland. I trust that in a few days they will be in the hands of hon. Members.
