§ MR. MORRISONsaid, he wished to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any arrangement can be made to satisfy the desire on the part of the public to obtain Copies of the Foreign Office Blue Book on the condition of the industrial classes in Foreign Countries?
MR. OTWAYsaid, in reply, that there was a great desire on the part of the Foreign Office to meet the wishes to which the hon. Member gave expression, with regard to the Blue Book in question. The matter stood in this way. After the distribution of the Reports on the industrial classes to the Houses of Parliament, between 60 and 70 copies were presented by the Foreign Office to the Chambers of Commerce and other institutions in the country. There were about 200 copies now left in the Foreign Office, and what was proposed to be done was to send this number of copies to Messrs. Hansard, to be sold at the usual Parliamentary price of 3s. a volume, and they could thus be placed within the reach of those institutions which desired to possess them.
