§ LORD ROBERT MONTAGUsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for War, When the lists of the Officers appointed to the Control Sub-departments (for the formation of which the 1616 Royal Warrant appeared in 1869) will be issued; and, whether the various Officers concerned will be deprived by the delay of any portion of the higher pay which has been voted for the financial year beginning 1st April 1870?
§ MR. CARDWELLsaid, in reply, that the lists would be submitted to the Queen very shortly, and then published. According to the Instructions issued with the Warrant, the officers will be on their present departmental lists with their regulated pay and allowances until they receive their new appointments.
