said, he would beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Excher, Whether a Correspondence has taken place between the Treasury and the Bank of England, respecting the time and mode of payment of dividends; and, if so, whether he would have and objection to lay this Correspondence upon the Table?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

said, in reply, that a correspondence respecting the time and mode of payment of dividends had taken place with the Bank of England. It was not yet completed, but when it was concluded it would be laid upon the table.
