said, he wished to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies, Whether, in view of the approaching expiry of the Jamaica Clergy Act, he will lay before Parliament a Statement of the amount paid out of the Colonial Revenues for Ecclesiastical purposes, together with the religious statistics of the Island; and, whether he will lay before Parliament similar information regarding the whole of the other West India Colonies and British Guiana?
