said, he would beg to ask the President of the Poor Law Board, Whether he proposes to introduce any measure, during the present Session, on the subject of rating woods not being saleable underwoods?

MR. GOSCHEN

, in reply, said, the question was under consideration, but as in the case of metalliferous mines, he doubted whether the business of the Session would allow legislation on the subject.
