WAYS AND MEANS—considered in Committee.

  1. (1.) Resolved, That, towards making good the Supply granted to Her Majesty, there be issued and applied to the Service of the year ending the 31st day of March 1870, the sum of £798,132 17s. 9d., being the Surplus of Ways and Means granted for the Service of preceding years.
  2. (2.) Resolved, That, towards making good the Supply granted to Her Majesty, the sum of £21,746, 684 2s. 3d. be granted out of the Consolidated Fund of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
