Member for North Wiltshire (Sir George Jenkinson), who had given Notice of a Motion on this subject for the Evening Sitting, not to proceed with it, as he could obtain no practical result, and the Secretary of State for the Home De- partment had announced his intention of fully considering the subject during the Recess with a view to early legislation.


said, he gladly accepted the assurance given, and would consent to withdraw his Motion.
