BLAKEsaid, he wished to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether it is possible to obtain from the accounts 948 of the Board of Works in Ireland a Return of the sums expended each year for the ten years ending the 1st day of January last on Howth Harbour, and for what purpose and under what authority such sums were expended; also the amount contributed from local or other sources to defray such expenditure, and by whom; together with the amount of tolls, rents, or other receipts received during the same period by the Board of Works from Howth Harbour?
§ MR. AYRTONsaid, in reply, that there would be no difficulty in rendering accounts of the sums expended for the past ten years on this harbour, and of the amount contributed by local and other sources.
