said, that he owed an apology to the hon. Member for the City (Mr. Crawford) for not being in his place yesterday. He had intended to call at- tention to the proposal to borrow money from others than the Bank of England, but was too late yesterday to do so from an oversight.

And it being Six of the clock, Mr. Speaker adjourned the House till Tomorrow, without putting the Question.
