HC Deb 26 April 1869 vol 195 c1582
COLONEL BUNCOMBE

said, he wished to ask the President of the Poor Law Board, If it his intention to introduce, during the present Session, a Bill for the purpose of placing the rating of mines on a more satisfactory footing?

MR. BRUCE

said, in reply, that the subject has been under the consideration of the Poor Law Board for a considerable time; but under the great pressure of business in the office it was impossible that a Bill dealing with it could be brought forward in the present Session.
