§ MR. CARDWELLsaid, in reply, that it was not true that the lease of Dover House had been purchased by the Crown. But, on the matter to which he understood his hon. Friend's Question pointed, he had to say that the best mode of placing the War Department and the Horse Guards under the same roof was now under the careful consideration of the Government.
