SANDFORDsaid, he would beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether Her Majesty's Government intend to bring forward any Measure, and, if any, what Measure, for the purpose of shortening the period which, under the existing Law, must intervene before a General Election can take place under the 925 provisions of the Reform Act psssed in the late Session of Parliament:

I am bound to say that the difficulties connected with it are greater than were at first contemplated; but I trust these difficulties may be overcome.
