HC Deb 22 May 1868 vol 192 c719
MR. DARBY GRIFFITH

, who had given Notice to call attention to Rule 164 of "The Rules, Orders, and Forms of Proceedings of the House of Commons," and to its frequent infraction or evasion; and to move that it be rescinded, said, he was always ready to defer to the wish of the House on all proper occasions, and if the House were equally forbearing they might get on better together. He would consent to postpone his Motion, presuming that the Government would postpone Supply.

Motion, "That Mr. Speaker do now leave the Chair," by leave, withdrawn.

Committee deferred till Monday next.
