§ MR. BENTINCKsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, When the Papers relating to the condemnation of the cargo of the British barque Springbok, by the Supreme Court of the United States, will be laid upon the Table? Portions of those Papers had been asked for four years ago.
LORD STANLEY, in reply, said, these Papers were now before the Law Officers of the Crown, but he believed a portion of them might shortly be produced. If his hon. Friend would explain privately which of them he wanted, no doubt he would be able to procure them.
