LABOUCHEREsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any Correspondence has taken place between the Foreign Office and the Treasury on the subject of the amount of compensation to be granted to Foreign Office Agents in the event of their agencies being abolished; and, if so, whether he has any objection to lay such Correspondence upon the Table of the House?
LORD STANLEYsaid, he would lay on the table the Correspondence between the Foreign Office and the Treasury on the amount of compensation to be awarded to Foreign Office Agents in the event of their offices being abolished.
