said, he regretted that he was absent on Friday evening when the noble Lord the Member for Middlesex (Viscount Enfield) drew attention to the propriety of granting a medal to the men who were engaged in the New Zealand War. He wished to take this opportunity of stating that it was their intention to grant a medal to the soldiers and sailors engaged in that war.
