said, he wished to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether it is the intention of the Government to bring in this Session a Bill for the acquirement and working of the Electric Telegraphs in the United Kingdom; and, if so, when it will be introduced?

MR. HUNT

said, in reply, that it was the intention of the Government to bring in a Bill for the acquisition of the Electric Telegraphs in the United Kingdom, and that he hoped in the course of this week to fix the day for its introduction.
